Black Eyed Susan 'Goldsturm'

Also known as Black Eyed Susan, this showy Rudbeckia brightens both summer and fall borders with a prolonged bloom period in both.

Golden, daisy like flower heads are quite large, up to 5 inches across, set on short, branching stems. Raised, conical center of dark brown provides great contrast to the warm toned rays. Coarse foliage is broad, lance shaped and a dark green.

Goldsturm is somewhat shorter than the rest of the species with stems up to 2 ½ ft tall.
