Large Spring Flowers... Reddish Purple Fall Foliage
Growing to heights between 10 and 12 feet, the Arrowwood Viburnum, or Viburnum dentatum, is a large deciduous shrub that is an excellent choice for mass plantings, privacy screens or shrub borders.
Capable of thriving in moist soil, the Arrowwood Viburnum will produce dense and multi-stemmed branches with glossy dark green leaves.
In the autumn months, the shrub's foliage can shift through a myriad of colors including yellow, red, orange and purple.
Additionally, the Arrowwood Viburnum produces a fragrant flower in late spring and early summer.
In early fall, the shrub will be littered with a blue-black fruit, making it extremely attractive to birds for feeding and nesting.
