Babylon Crocosmia

Brilliant orange-red flowers with a paler center and deep scarlet throats bloom plentifully on graceful slender scapes.

Flower spikes on this Crocosmia grow to 30 in tall with foliage nearing 3 ft., stately, clump forming perennial closely related to the gladiolus and resembles its upright form.  

This perennial blooms August to September and will stop you in your tracks.    
 
Add late summer color to your beds, and architectural form to your borders.  

The brilliant orange sizzles in mass plantings, try growing in clumps of 12 or more. 

For a more brilliant red color try the Lucifer Crocosmia.  
 
Babylon's plentiful, funnel shaped blooms make a great cut flower.  They are commonly used in commercial arrangements.
