Blue Pacific Juniper
Unique Blue-Green Color
Superior blue-green foliage, a low trailing habit, and good year-round color make the Blue Pacific juniper one of the most popular ground covers.
This dense, hardy creeper can be used in foundation plantings, around trees, and even crawling over retaining walls. You can plant them in groups on slopes to prevent soil erosion.
This evergreen has aromatic, soft, needle-like foliage and develops small blue cones.
The Pacific Blue Juniper is extremely deer-resistant and adapts to any well-drained soil. Plant them 2-3 feet apart.
Once established it has a fairly low water requirement and can be drought-tolerant and resistant to winter injury.
