Carex Evergold

The Carex Evergold grass is cultivated for its variegated, colorful foliage. 

The tufted, evergreen perennial forms a low mound of gracefully arching, dark green leaves up to 10 in long. 

Each leaf displays a broad, creamy yellow stripe down the center, giving the plant an overall golden color...provides winter interest with its evergreen foliage. 
 
Carex Evergold grass cultivates a more modern look and will work wonders along borders or edging. 

Great as an accent or in mass planting of 5 or more, and also a favorite for rock or water gardens. 

The Evergold Carex makes a superb container plant as well.
