Double Knockout Rose Planting Directions
9 Month, Non-Stop, Explosion of Blooms

Never Spray Again Naturally resistant to diseases and pests that attack other roses, such as: mildew, fungi, blackspot, rose midge and leaf hoppers.

Never
Cut Spent Blooms Again Since this plant will continue to bloom throughout the year, there is no need to trim off old or dead flowers. New flowers are continually pushing the old ones out of the way.

Never Worry Again
Long periods of rain, drought, extreme heat or extreme cold no longer matter. Your Double Knockout Roses are so adaptable; they thrive from Florida to Canada... full sun or partial shade.

Plant in groups of 3 or more Make a statement and plant these bloomers in groups.  Plant along a fence for a dramatic border.  Plant along your foundation for an easy hedge.  However you plant them, make sure you plant more than one.

Plant where you need Low Shrubs, Annuals or Perennials Finally a rose bush that looks great any time of year! Many areas enjoy blooms up to 9 months a year. After that, attractive winter foliage starts as a dark burgundy then lightens to orange-red. The flowers of the Double Knockout Roses bloom a light red and will fade as the flower dies away. Plant along walkways, borders, patios and foundations. Wherever you need color.

Grows to a tight, compact 3-4 ft. high shrub/hedge. A highly versatile plant that works where ever you put it. Be sure to check out our 3 gallon Double Knock out roses, while they're still available.

Brighter Blooms Nursery offers these larger sizes to ensure you get a fully developed root system that will thrive the first year, not years down the road.

I think the Red Double Knockout Rose is the most beautiful rose plant i have seen!

Amber
We just ordered 18 of the Double Red Knockout Roses and are so excited to get them. We feel they will definitely be an enhancement and talked about feature of our home for years to come.

patti
The Red Double Knockout Roses is the easiest rose to grow, and has the most beautiful blooms. No more spraying for me.

Amy
Double Knockout Rose....easiest rose I have ever grown. Withstands hurricanes in south Mississippi.

Maury
Double Red Knockout Rose This is one bodacious beautiful rosebush that I prefer to use in a _long row_ where we have a narrow strip of land next to neighboors that is otherwise useless. It brings incredible beauty to an otherwise area that I have always just mowed with a push mower in Texas summers of 90-100 degrees. I no longer have to mow that long strip! Pruning is done once a year when the weather here is cooler.

Connie
I love my double red knockout roses!

Lou

I planted 60 Knockout Roses at our Veterans Memorial Park in Va. Beach 2 years ago. They are a knock-out in show when the blush and red are together blooming.

Susan
I live in Sarasota, FL and can attest that the Red Double Knockout Roses are wonderful growers and givers all year

The Red Double Knockout Rose are beautiful. A family member introducted these to me because I had trouble growing flowers. I am very pleased with the results thus far.

I have three Red Double Knockout Roses, and 1 (one) of them is about 5 1/2 feet tall. The others are about the normal 4 feet tall. They are beautiful from early spring thru fall. I live in North Alabama so they love the warmer weather and apparently lots of humidity.

Jamie
I planted three Red Double Knockout Roses in the spring, and they have grown to nearly 4 feet tall in just one season. They have SO many blooms on them, ALL the time! They are just beautiful. And the best part? I didn't do a thing to them--didn't spray, didn't fertilize (except when I first planted them)--no maintenance whatsoever. I am a notorious plant-killer, so you know these are hardy things!

L R Hughes
The Red Double Knockout Roses are growing well and we love the color.

TYSON
IF YOU LOVE ROSES ,THERE ARE NO OTHER ROSES BETTER THEN THESE KNOCKOUT ROSES!!!!

Cathy Wieder
These knockout roses are absolutely outstanding - as advertised and more. Shipping is a consideration, but you get what you pay for and you simply can't beat the quality. The roses were packaged with care; I was amazed at what a fine job they did and as a result, how well they traveled. They arrived in full bloom, soil moist, leaves were deep green and shiny, not a single tiny stem was so much as bent, and the plants were in top condition. Buying on line from this company is absolutely worthwhile. And the sales staff are as fabulous as their roses!

We have 10 Red Double Knockout Roses here in southern Kentucky, and they are still blooming beautifully, in October. Any other rose would have stopped blooming months ago. This is the only rose I have ever had that did not get fungi really badly. We water once a week and fertilize once a month and that is all.

Carolyn
I planted a row of Red Double Knockout Roses in the spring. They were about 12 inches tall when planted and now they are about 3 feet tall. They are still blooming in October! I couldn't be happier since I really don't have a green thumb.

Karen
We live in Eugene, Oregon and my knockout roses are blooming profusely into October. They are the most beautiul in their brilliant red next to my hydrangeas. As other plants are more subdued in our fall garden, the almost neon the those knockouts is a knockout.

Rose
My red Knock Out Rose is still blooming and it's October 1. I have been very happy with it and may buy more depending on how much I want to increase my gardens.

Julie
These are amazing Knockout rose bushes. They just keep on growing and blooming. I can't wait for next Spring to see how they look after some more growth! We planted them as border around our patio so the bigger the better!

Anna
I planted 6 Red Double Knockout Roses this Spring and they are doing beautifully! I have found that they do well in all light but seem to thrive the best in morning sun/afternoon shade.

Susan Klein

Paul
Double Red Knockout Rose was ordered late had to wait plant was small in size but the dumb thing just kept on growing and had progressively more blooms all summer long. beautiful blooms, well worth the wait.

I reside in central Illinois and purchased six (5) Double Knockout rose bushes in late August of 2008. They survived a very cold winter in 2008/09, have attained an average height of about 3 feet this first year and have bloomed consistently from the Spring of 2009 to date (Oct 2, 2009). They are fantastically beautiful. We had a cooler than normal most of the summer, coupled with considerable rain, both of which I feel contributed to the Knockout's growth and heavy blooming.

Debbie
double red knockout roses, they grow so big and beautiful, so happy with this plant wish i knew about it years ago, hard to believe it grows so good. thank you .

Paula
I think the prettiest ones are the yellow and white knockout roses, the they smell so good, i would not have any other Rose

Holly
After I discovered the knockout rose myself, I started buying them for gifts like housewarming, birthdays, even instead of funeral flowers (a constand reminder of a loved one, especially in a garden with an angel). Very appreciated by the recipient!

sudie
I love my knockout roses. The only way to describe them because truly they are a knockout. They bloom from spring to frost in Georgia

John
I received three Double Red Knockouts for my birthday, They are BEAUTIFUL ! ! I'm on my way out to plant them now. Also, I did find some yellow ones here in Tulsa, OK.

Shelley
Oh, my! Up here in Central NYS these beauties grow and thrive under just about any conditions Momma Nature can throw at them! They just glow in sun or partial dappled shade here in my backyard and the color(s) of the Red Double Knockout are beautiful--this rose "goes with" just about any color plantings you may have. Plan on purchasing more for front walkway! Just love these roses...so easy to grow and thrive just about anywhere! '

Jamie
I bought a house in Central California -- summer temps average around 90. There was a red double knockout rose bush in the yard. I had never been a big fan of roses before -- too much work and I was never very successful at getting them to look good and healthy. This one changed my mind. It blooms constantly, needs no care and always looks gorgous! Once my husband got carried away and pruned it almost to the ground. I was scared it would never come back to it's former glory. Not only did it come back, but was better than ever! I absolutely love this bush and am now planting more!

Denise
I have SEVERAL of the double knock outs.... pink and red, they make a beautiful privacy hedge along my patio.
