Hardy from USDA zones 5-11, the Niobe flourishes in partial to full sunlight and in most soil types and growing conditions, and is deer resistant.
Love it's deep red color. It took 2 growing seasons to take hold, but look out, it just goes & goes. I have it on a 6x6 post it covers by mid June. I prune it in the fall by 1/3, it comes back on old growth.
