Positively glowing spikes of deep violet-purple and a blue-gray, lance-shaped, aromatic foliage make May Night a must have perennial. Makes great cut flowers, potpourris, mid level fillers and is a magnet for bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Coreopsis Moonbeam
No garden hould be without coreopsis, and Moonbeam is far and away the most popular of the family. 1995's Perennial of the Year. The airy, fern-like foliage supports tiny, light yellow daisy-like flowers all summer and into fall. Cut back in midsummer to extend the blooms.
Phlox Emerald Blue
An ideal ground cover, this phlox sports deep blue flowers and a thick mat of semi-evergreen foliage. It likes well drained soil and will thrive spreading in rock gardens or cascading over walls or border edges.
