These Spidery White Blossoms Only Look Fragile
The White Spider Lily is extremely rare. Complex blooms of pure white support gigantic, upswept anthers that tower over the petals. The foliage appears in early spring and dies back to the ground by early summer, leaving the blooms alone atop their sturdy stems and giving the flower its nickname, Naked Lily. This tough little spider will thrive in most any conditions and give the garden an elegant air.
