You may hear White Wisteria referred to as Kentucky Wisteria.
This lovely climbing plant is a native of the rolling green state of Kentucky, but it grows almost anywhere. This spring flowering vine is perfectly suited for small yards and gardens in many soils and climates.

White Wisteria Trees are super easy to grow.
A deciduous vine that will adapt to many soils and climates with great damp tolerance. Don't be concerned about needing to spray a bunch of chemicals to keep it lovely. White Wisteria is pest and disease resistant. You'll find that you will have the most wonderful blooms on a handsome vine when you find a spot for wisteria in a part shade to full sun planting spot. Not only that if you live in the northern reaches of wisteria hardy zones, those late spring frosts can't destroy your blooms because this one blooms on new growth- not old wood. The most dependable wisteria bloomer for the North!

You'll find White Wisteria to have great ornamental value even after it blooms.
The foliage is quite lovely and is arranged in an interesting pattern along the twining stems. The curling of new growth adds a good deal of pizzazz as does the high gloss on the immature leaves. This wisteria blooms a full 2-3 weeks later than the others, after the leaves are open. Late season pruning will increase bloom count the following spring and assist you in controlling the full size of your beautiful White Wisteria vine. Apply a good fertilizer in early spring to increase blooming. Oh yes, this fast growing vine is a native of low, swampy areas making it an excellent candidate for a wet spot in your yard.
