Welcome spring to your yard with an abundance of blooms!
A profusion of white flowers signals the end of chilly winter. Just when you’re thinking winter will never end, your Yoshino Cherry welcomes the arrival of spring as it explodes into bloom!
Fragrant flowers are replaced by glossy green leaves, and your tree will come to life in the summer as the birds flock to enjoy your Yoshino’s fruit. The show continues as the leaves change to brilliant yellow-orange in the fall.
A cherry blossom tree in full bloom is a sight to see! Yoshino’s are the star attraction each spring during Georgia’s Cherry Blossom Festival, when over 300,000 of them are showcased during a 10-day festival of extravagant spring blooms.
They’re also the star of the Washington, DC Cherry Blossom Festival every spring. People flock from all over the country to see these magnificent trees in bloom!
Now you can enjoy this glorious show in your own yard!
Your Yoshino Cherry will thrive in full sun. It can be planted in many soil types and climates, and will grow quickly to a mature height of 30-40 feet high and wide.
Plant one as a specimen plant, or plant several together along your drive or patio. The graceful vase shaped form makes it perfect for either purpose, and it’s large size means it’s a great choice for somewhere that requires a little summer shade.
The Yoshino Cherry, with its blanket of blooms, will be the perfect addition to your yard!
These are the most beautiful trees, in bloom and not. They accent one another. They add beauty and elegance to any style landscaping. When in bloom though, you can see passer bys slowing down to capture the beauty. I have 4 planted in my front yard with white ceramic sitting benches with a 3 tier birdbath in the center. With a Weeping mulberry and weeping cherry trees. I plan to add more Yosino Cherry trees to complet the scenery, (full feel my front yard). Along with Jasmine and Azealeas in my flower bed surrounding my home. It is a sight to behold, when one set stops blooming, another starts up. Early spring is the only time and in winter, I have only green for color. I'm working on that. Yoshino cherry trees are the easiet to plant and maintain of all.
