The White Jade Pineapple is one of the few tropical plants that can thrive in containers. All it needs is a sunny spot and water to grow and produce delicious fruit in as little as two years! It's extremely low-maintenance and resistant to pests, diseases, and drought.
The White Jade Pineapple is unlike any pineapple plant you’ve ever seen or tasted. This exotic fruit is known for its sweet, white flesh and completely edible core. It's sweeter with a lower acidity than traditional pineapples, and it produces spineless leaves, making picking and cutting much easier!
Ideal for indoor spaces or small outdoor landscapes, this manageable sized Pineapple will please any garden. Get access to this rare, exotic fruit right from home by ordering your White Jade Pineapple today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: First, choose an area with full sun and well-drained soil for your White Jade Pineapple. Around 6 to 8 hours of sun per day is appropriate.
To plant your Pineapple, dig a hole deep enough to cover its root ball. After placing your plant, tamp down the soil while backfilling to avoid any air pockets. Water your Pineapple to settle the soil that surrounds the roots. If you’re planting in a container, select one that’s approximately two times the width of the root ball. From there, the planting instructions are the same – and after you’ve planted, place your potted Pineapple Plant in front of a sunny window.
2. Watering: Water regularly during the first full growing season. To test when and how much to water, simply check the top 2 to 3 inches of soil – if it’s dry, it’s time to water until it’s moist but not oversaturated.
3. Fertilizing: Generally, Pineapples take up nutrition through their leaves, so very little fertilizer, if any, is necessary. If you do fertilize, use liquid solutions like seaweed extract or fish emulsion.
