Organic Soil Conditioner
Root Stimulator and Soil Conditioner
Coconut is a natural root stimulator and soil conditioner. So even if you have terrible soil, your bushes will thrive.
These bricks take a large bag of coconut husks and compress it. When you dig your hole, the brick easily crumbles into small pieces and works into your soil. It greatly improves clay, sandy, rocky or alkaline soils.
It's like putting your shrubs on steroids. Your plants will have larger blooms that last longer. For fruit trees, this means increased production year after year.
One brick is enough for 2 - 1(one) gallon plants or 1 - 3(three) gallon plant.

Put 3 Double Knockout Roses last fall for a test run .These had a few blooms in December...In Mass.! Put in about 5 more in groups of 5 this spring and my garden looks fabulous. These bloomed all through the summer and still look spectacular at the end of September. We fed them once a month. I did dead head them since I like a tidy garden but found from friends this is not necessary. This is the Lazy gardener's rose. So carefree and gorgeous!

We bought both pink and red double knockouts and no matter where we have planted them, they have far exceeded our expectations. We have them in bright sun, under pine trees (semi-shade and somewhat acidic soil) and we used them for a beautification project in the heart of the city. Each and every rose has been an outstanding performer, fast growing, ever blooming, heat and drought tolerant, and resistant to the pests that are affecting our other roses.
If you've never had luck growing roses, definitely give these a try. In two years you'll have an enormous plant, enthusastic bloomer, and plenty of roses to fill vases in your home.

I had never grown roses before I learned about Double Pink Knockout Roses. They are great but I also like to keep them tidy so I clip and prune. They are still blooming successfully.
