Our Hardy banana tree arrived in very good shape and began to grow the day we put it in dirt! It got to 3 feet and the wife accidently broke it in half. We thought it was done but it grew another 3 feet and put off two suckers so we now have three!

I was really impressed with the packaging of my hardy banana tree. I've bought from other nurseries and when I received the items they were not in good shape. I just got my basjoo banana in the ground and it is thriving. I expect great things from my banana plant.

I bought 3 of the Hardy Banana trees this year. They are all doing well. I did spend the additional money to buy one of the $39 trees vs 2 of the $15 ones. The older tree has grown twice as fast as the smaller trees, but that aside I am very happy with all of them. My pool area looks great and I've had quite a few people peering over the fence to look at them!

I purchased the Basjoo Banana tree in the Spring and it is now to the top of my fence! I'm hoping it survives the winter as advertised. If it does, I know next summer it will be awesome!!

I purchased two of the Basjoo Banana trees in July of this year. Both arrived in great shape, but I never thought those little things would grow like they have. Fertilized them about every week, lightly, watered nearly every day and you can almost hear them growing. One is about 9 foot, the other, while healthy, is a bit slower at 6 ft. Both have 4 to 6 new shoots starting from 1 to 4 ft high. Next spring, I'll probably have to replant some, or cut some back. Now that's growing! Beautiful accent to the normal W. Virginia landscape. Reminds me of my former residence in SW Florida.

I purchased a Basjoo Banana tree in the Spring just to see how it would do where I live - It has done extremely well this summer, drought resistant and looks great. I started mine in a large ceramic pot, to see how I liked it....the real test will be how well it does through the winter and whether it comes back as strong next Spring.....I have faith that it will.....I was amazed that it is zone 5! A great tropical addition....

I purchased 3 Hardy Banana Trees and now I have 11! One has done excellent and is at least 6 feet tall, the others were planted in a different location and are half that size. We love them so much that we dug them up and repotted for indoors.

I have banana trees every year, I love them and there is no work to have them, put them in a well drained area and watch them grow. I only had bad lick with mine when my pet goats got out and eat them up, but I got more and still one of my favorite plants in my yard, love them

Bought this banana tree back in March. As of today, its growing like crazy! We get a huge, new leaf every 5 to 7 days. So thrilled with it. We water it every day and use a fertilizer once a week. Now its putting out three new shoots! The big test will be to see if it survives the winter. If you are sitting on the fence about purchasing this tree, just do it. You won't be disappointed.

This is an amazingly hardy tree. I have one that was started from another and they just keep tripleing in size and yield. One of my trees is now after one year 10 ft. tall.I have one tree that after a year actually produceing bundles of "bananas". These plants have a root ball that can be seperated and planted to yeild another plant. I now have many trees I am so proud of not to mention how my landscape looks now. I recommend anyone growing this basjoo banana plant. Grow on you can do it....
