Rhododendron x 'Coral Bells' |
Bright Coral Pink blooms are traffic stoppers!
Coral Bells has become the most widely planted azalea. It's evergreen foliage is tiny and low spreading.
Large blossoms thickly cover the plant in Spring, making it very bright.
Called hose-in-hose, their outside trumpet-shaped flower hold another trumpet inside it. You often see these planted near roads, along foundations or as groundcover.
Coral Bells Azalea will do well in full or filtered sun.
As usual with many azalea varieties, Coral Bells requires little maintenance. Just make sure you plant in areas that drain well and don't hold water.
