The dwarf variegated variety of euonymus is a great addition from seashore to urban settings.
The small leaves are green with creamy white margins which capture light during the day or on moonlit evenings.
There are small, greenish white flowers, but the interest lies in its dense upright foliage. Pair with the Burning Bush Euonymus for a real show.
This shrub works well as a short hedge, border along a path, group planting, or at an entryway to provide its evergreen qualities all year.
Pruning is an option and not at all necessary.
This Euonymus forms naturally into an oval mound.
The shrub will prove itself easy to start...and to maintain. Growing well in full sun to shade, it is also tolerant of many soil types, including clay, loam and sand, as long as the ground is well-drained and not kept too wet.
