Fast growing and hundreds of full, fragrant blooms.
Your Royal Empress Tree will grow to its full, mature size in less than 5 years.  This gives you instant shade and instant flowers from this hardy tree.  The lavender flowers emerge in Spring providing you with a sweet fragrance for months on end.

Unlike any other super rapidly growing tree, the Paulownia will not invade your entire yard with the root system. This tree has proven a great benefit to erosion control, reducing loss of invaluable topsoil.

This hardwood tree will soon be saving you money on cooling and heating.
Did you know that the lack of mature shade trees around new homes adds about 25% to your energy bills?

Mature trees protecting older homes normally reduce the energy bills by tempering the sun’s heat and offering wind protection. Also refered to as the Royal Princess tree, it produces relief from the elements in far less time than any other fast growing tree.

Royal Empress Trees from Brighter Blooms Nursery are non-invasive and grown from tissue culture, which makes them stronger and healthier from the start.  Be weary of other guys that sell Paulownia Trees, most likely they are selling you the native, invasive variety.  Here at Brighter Blooms you can be assured that your plant is strong and healthy, ready to deliver the first day you receive it.

My brother lined his driveway with 5 or 6 of them in 2005. As of September 2008, some of them are atleast 30 feet tall with big, full leaves!

I have a Royal Empress tree that on the first year it grew about 3 feet, thought it had died out the first winter. Then spring came and it came back! Grew about 10 feet this year!

This is year 3 for my Empress Tree. It grew only 2 feet the first two years. The frost "killed" them. I chopped them down to the ground in the spring and this year it is 12 feet tall. I cant believe it!

We planted our Royal Empress Tree in the early summer and by the end of summer it was over 5 feet tall.

I purchased a 5-6 ft Royal Empress tree in the spring of this year. When I received it, I called it the "stick".Planted it per instructions and waited - and waited - and waited. I visited the "stick" every day for 3 weeks and nothing. But then, a small shoot appeared and it hasn't stopped As of now, 10/2/09 it is 13 ft tall and still growing with a diameter of 4" at the base. I should have bought more!

I purchased a Royal Empress tree from Brighter Blooms Nursery in May 2009. It was barely 5 inches tall and after I planted it it sat and did nothing for about a month. Then a shoot came up from the ground and it started growing at an incredibly rapid rate. In July it was about a foot tall and by October I would estimate its height to be 8 feet ot more. Amazing! I am hopeful by the end of next summer it will be providing at least some shade to the side of our house that gets the afternoon sun.

Janice
I purchased the Royal Empress trees two years ago. The first year it only grew about four feet tall. The instructions said to cut it down to ground level in the fall. Well, I waited until winter, cut it down to the ground and waited. In the early spring, still nothing. Late spring when it was time to cut the grass, I noticed a small sprout coming out of the ground. Within two days it had grown 21 inches. Now in it's full second season it is over 20 feet tall with many branches and broad leaves. I will definitely be purchasing more.
