Vase-Shaped Shrub offers Tremendous Flowering Ability
With its vase shape and dull, bluish green foliage, the Vanhoutte Spirea is a unique shrub that delivers a massive amount of blossoms during its flowering season.
Blossoming in the late spring, the Vanhoutte Spirea virtually explodes with 1-2” flowers, its dark foliage offering an excellent backdrop.
This deciduous shrub grows quickly, reaching up to 8 feet tall, and is often used as part of a screen planting.
Given plenty of direct sunlight, the Vanhoutte Spirea is durable and can thrive in most types of soil, so long as it has good drainage.
In addition to being used for screens, this plant can function as a foundation plant, as a border plant or as part of a group planting.

If you want a beautiful plant that grows quickly then the Vanhoutte Spirea is for you. I grew mine in rows for a privacy screen from my neighbors .. Its my own pretty privacy fence!
