Erect a hedge that will fill solid as fast as 1 year after planting!
Are nicely behaved, easy to grow almost anywhere. These specially bred trees grow happily from Canada to the Gulf Coast and in almost any soil. Hybrid Willow Trees purchased from Brighter Blooms Nursery arrive with well-developed roots ready to grow so rapidly that you will be completely amazed.
I have been planting hybrid Willows on my 5 acres in IL for over ten years now. I have yet to loose 1 tree. Some of the trees are over 60 feet tall already and provide excellant shade for my house and pole barn. They do not sucker and the roots do not spread far, as trees within 20 feet of my sump pump discharge are 30% taller than those over 20 feet away. if watered and hit with a little miracle grow, these trees will grow 12 foot the first year and at least 10 feet the subsequent 6/7 years---then they slow to 3 feet per year. I have about 100 trees with the majority being a 200 foot screen / windbrake planted 3 feet apart.--love em if you have the space--you can let them "clump grow" or prune them to a single trunk
