Product Description

Vibrant Pink Hues Without the Work

Ideal for perennial borders, plain hillsides, containers, and beyond, the Firewitch Dianthus is a versatile pick with no guesswork required! Bred to give you tons of color without the hassle, the Firewitch is perfect for all gardeners alike.

We especially love that our Dianthus produces purple-pink blooms with a unique clove scent from spring all the way through summer. During its peak season, you’ll get tons of color and a moderate hardiness with very little effort!

Another perk? Your Firewitch boasts a rich green backdrop that stays vibrant throughout winter, plus it resists deer better than other varieties. Between the lovely fragrance, lush blooms, and fresh greenery  - it’s safe to say that the Dianthus is a great choice for your yard this year.

Not only will we plant, grow, and ship your Firewitch Dianthus with meticulous care, but you’ll get a stunning perennial that’s ready to thrive quickly!

Plus, ordering your Firewitch Dianthus from us means that you get the look of an expertly-grown plant with very little maintenance.  Don't wait too long - this Dianthus will go fast. Order yours today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Dianthus can be grown in full sun or partial shade. When planting, dig a hole 2 times as wide and exactly as deep as the root ball. Place your Dianthus into the hole and backfill the dirt.

2. Watering: The flowers are tolerant of heat and humidity. Be advised, however, that these plants will not be as lush and their blooms will not be as plentiful when grown in hot, dry conditions.

Water weekly, or check the surrounding soil. When the soil is dry about 3 inches down, it's time to water. If your Dianthus is container-planted, water until you see it flowing from the drainage holes at the bottom.

3. Pruning: In the fall, clean up your Dianthus by removing loose or fallen leaves and blooms from its base. Then, add a layer of mulch to protect its evergreen foliage. When the weather begins to warm the following season, remove mulch from the base of your Dianthus to prevent crown rot.
