Product Description

Easy-Care Willow That Blooms in Winter!

With its tall stature, striking display, and low-maintenance care needs, the White Pussy Willow Shrub is the perfect choice for your landscape!

This shrub is unique and captivating with tall, dark branches adorned with fuzzy, silvery-white blooms known as catkins. The catkins arrive in late winter and early spring, much earlier than most other flowering plants. This makes the White Pussy Willow an asset to any landscape or garden, as it adds visual interest and brings liveliness to a typically dormant season.

In addition to flowering in the off-season, the White Pussy Willow is fast-growing and easy to care for. It also tolerates a variety of soil conditions, pests, and diseases, so you’ll be able to enjoy your White Pussy Willow soon after you plant it and for years to come!

You really can’t go wrong with this quick-growing, easy-care, unique, and adaptable shrub. Add visual interest in winter and early spring and enjoy the show-stopping White Pussy Willow year-round in your garden or yard. Grab yours today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Choose a spot that gets 4 to 6 hours of sun each day with well-drained soil. Dig a hole that's about two to three times the width of your rootball and place your shrub. After planting, you can add a thick layer of mulch around the base of the shrub to help the plant retain moisture.

2. Watering: The Pussy Willow likes water, but rain is usually enough. If you live in a dry area, you may need to water once a week. During dry spells or droughts, watering twice a week may be necessary.

3. Pruning: Start pruning after the second year of growth by removing all the branches each winter. Your shrub will have a bulbous area that the branches grow out of - simply cut off all the branches above that bulbous area in the winter before the new growth starts.
