Moudry Pennisetum is an ornamental fountain grass, tuft forming and graceful with quite a spread- up to 3 ft!

Glossy foliage is flat, narrow and deep green in summer, warming to a golden hue in the fall.

A noteworthy characteristic is the large, bushy flower spikes produced in late summer that resemble a fountain's water spout.

The unusual and eye-catching color begins as brown and matures to a purplish black...think flower arrangements both fresh and dried!

This grass is easy to grow and relatively frost hardy.
