From late June through early July, the tree, laden with pounds of dark red cherries, is a sight to behold!

Dwarf North Star Cherry Trees mature to 12 feet in height. Their compact size makes it a favorite or growing in smaller backyards, courtyards, and gardens. This height makes it easy to maintain your cherry tree, and the fruit is easily reached for picking.

A hardier cherry tree would be difficult to find. Cold hardy, pest and disease resistant this cherry tree is a joy to grow. The North Star is an early producer giving you fruit next season (under optimum conditions). It is a reliable heavy fruiting tree that requires little of your time and effort. This is one of the few cherry trees that do not require a pollinator. It is self-fruiting, but as with all fruit trees, will perform even better when two or more trees are planted together.
