    The Most Colorful Crabapple

You might not expect a tree this beautiful to be tough, but the Profusion Crabapple tree is extremely adaptable!

Crabapple trees are tough, hardy and easy to grow... plus they are disease and drought tolerant!

The show begins in early spring, when you get violet-red blooms that cover your whole tree, with enough color to stop traffic! It has one of the most breathtaking spring-blooming seasons of any tree. As a bonus, it has pretty red berries that attract birds, too!

The Profusion Crabapple is a round-crowned tree that matures at 20-30 ft. It's a spring bloomer with excellent resistance to rust and leaf spot, and it usually manages to avoid powdery mildew as well.

This tough tree is winter-hardy and able to withstand temperatures as low as -30 degrees. It will take on nearly any soil conditions, and is drought-resistant, too.

The Crabapple Profusion tree is stunning in more than one season. The early spring buds are deep red and open as purple-red blooms. They fade to pinkish red as they age. The early leaves of this tree are purple as well, fading to bronze and then to green with maturity.

The blooms soon turn to berries, which are a deep red that cling to the tree. Few of them fall to the ground before the birds get to them. They are a favored food source for many species. Fall brings a brilliant golden hue to the leaves and highlights the craggy bark as it becomes exposed.

This colorful crabapple will soon be your favorite low-maintenance tree.
