Like most cherry trees, the Autumn Cherry puts on its most spectacular show of blossoms in the spring. This variety's delicate pink flowers are semi-double, with ten petals rather than the five that many cherry blossoms have, giving them an unusual frilly look.
As the blossoms start to fall, the green summer foliage fills in, as well as small black berries. The Autumn Cherry's canopy spreads in a classic cherry shape as it matures. A full-grown specimen makes an elegant shade tree in the height of summer.
The Autumn Cherry isn't done yet. The tree blooms occasionally throughout the summer and fall, and even through mild winters! Although the leaves turn golden and drop off in the fall, the Autumn Cherry can be the only tree in your garden that keeps bringing back gentle reminders of the warm spring days to come.

I ordered two Autumn Cherry
I ordered two Autumn Cherry trees and they arrived quickly and were so healthy. They were taller than expected so off to a great start. I waited a week to plant them due to rainy conditions but they stayed upright and healthy.

My 4-5 foot autumn cherry tree came in very stressed due to the shipper. it took two weeks to get it once the carrier picked it up. about half the leaves had fallen off and the rest were curling up. roots were pretty much dry by this time. i called and reported it and told them i wanted to try to save it. Long story short it is in the ground and putting on a lot of new growth. something caught my eye day before yesterday. on second look the little tree was blooming. it is doing well and getting very pretty. too bad winter is coming soon. i will order again in a few minutes. Hopefully you will not use you know who as your carrier.
