Reliable, Rich-Colored Ornamental Grass

If you're looking for an ornamental grass that's all-around tolerant and easy to care for, then Morning Light Miscanthus has you covered!

Stacked with impressive qualities, this variety is exceptionally hardy in most soils and adaptable to drought conditionsas well as readily resistant to pests and diseases. In addition, it's hardy enough to bounce back from woodland creatures such as rabbits and deer.

Another perk of the Morning Light Miscanthus is its reddish-bronze blooms as summer turns to fall, creating a dreamy garden display of color and cheer. And when it isn't blooming, it appears robust and voluminous with thin, silver-green blades.

For long-lasting color and texture and easy-care interest, this grass is your best bet! Plant your Morning Light Miscanthus into containers or as a border along walkways, fences and more, and it'll thrive. Effortlessly filling any gaps in your yard, this variety is versatile and can meet any number of landscape needs.

Don't wait to order this dynamic and delightful pick--get your Morning Light Miscanthus today!

Note: If you purchase this grass in fall-winter, it may be cut back for the plant’s health. If your grass is cut back, don’t worry - it will grow even happier and healthier next spring!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant in an area with full sun (6-8 hours of sunlight per day). Select a location with well-drained soil and dig a hole that's large enough to accommodate your plant's root ball.

After you've planted, mulch the surrounding area and water to settle the roots.

2. Watering: Water weekly, or more often in extreme heat or drought. If you plant your grass in containers, you'll also want to water more frequently. Check the soil and water when soil is dry to the touch two inches down.

3. Pruning: Prune your grass down to the ground in late winter, just before new growth appears.
