Cold Hardy & Long Lasting Blooms

    • Large flowers from June through October
    • Adaptable, hardy and easy to grow
    • Get incredible color without any effort

Your Red Rose of Sharon Althea gives you vibrant, non-stop blooms in summer and fall, with very little effort!

This variety is the hardiest we've ever seen. It grows as far north as zone 5- you don't see many Rose of Sharon shrubs in that part of the country.

These are miniature flower factories. You'll see your first blooms in early summer, and they don't stop until the first frost. It is the longest-blooming Rose of Sharon Althea we've ever seen.

A lot of high-end homes use these in rows as a tall flowering hedge to provide privacy. It's a nice blooming alternative to a solid evergreen wall.

We recommend planting in groups of three or five for a dramatic effect.

Open, loose branches make it great for formal and informal plantings. It is pest-resistant, adaptable and easy to grow. This means you get huge blooms without the hassle.

These blooms are a maroon-red... almost a deep purple. They're a unique shade that you don't often find in landscapes.
