This Red Rose of Sharon (also known as Althea) is a unique ornamental dwarf tree that explodes with loads of double blossoms.

Practically maintenance-free, this new tree variety will steal the show in your garden. The Red Rose of Sharon tree gives your landscape stunning ornamental appeal, with deep maroon, almost purple, flowers that last for months. (Some customers describe it as mauve.) These showy blooms will elicit oohs and aahs from all who pass by.

Maturing to heights of 6-8 feet, this dwarf tree fits beautifully into any garden, making it a perfect choice where space is limited. You can even plant it in a decorative container for your deck or patio. It looks great around entryways, too!

The Red Althea tree can stand alone as a gorgeous specimen, but can also be grouped in threes for accent in a mixed bed. For a sophisticated look, highlight the corners of your home with these trees, or line both sides of a drive or formal walkway with them.

Keep your binoculars handy, as hummingbirds and butterflies love this tree.

Not sure. I planted it two weeks ago and I am still waiting for signs of growth.

Red Dogwood & Red Rose of Althea & Chinese Pistache tree

This is my 2nd order from Brighter Blooms and I can Honestly say,, I am VERY Impressed with them ! The plants are actually fresh shipped 2nd Day Delivery, AND packaged professionally !! No cheap flimsy boxes and plants are secured in place in the box. FedEx would have to roll over these packages to destroy the plants inside. I've bought from other online companies in the past and never got plants this impressive. Brighter Blooms is now my go to company for online plants !! Thanks ! Don
