Apply an all purpose organic fertilizer several times in the growing season. Water regularly, but make sure it doesn’t have wet feet. Pests and disease are a non-factor, especially if the tree is not crowded. And while the Paw Paw may look tropical, it has the hardiness of a tough Northern tree. The Paw Paw can withstand temperatures down to -22F, making it a worry-free fruit bearer.
