The vine grows in all types of soils as long as it has consistent watering. Simply deadhead the flowers in the late spring and summer, and the plant will reward you with more showy flowers.

The Peaches and Cream's evergreen status in the lower South allows privacy even in the off season. More northern climates will see the leaves drop. Prune in late winter once extreme cold passes.
