Product Description

Incredible Rainbow-Colored Bark!

The Rainbow Eucalyptus tree is named for its fantastic bark which appears as if it's been painted into place! It's a riot of colors in a fast-growing package that you have to see to understand.

The canopy of the Rainbow Eucalyptus is wide and dense, offering lots of shade, but the bark is the star of the show. Every time you peel away the bark, new colors are revealed!

Enjoy a brilliant lime at first... and then to shades of orange, brown, purple, red, blue, pink and maroon. The trunk becomes streaked with the various colors and looks as if it has been painted in a rainbow of hues. Enjoy the attention!

This ever-changing rainbow of bark is fascinating to watch. No two patterns are the same and no two trees will ever look identical. When growing in ideal conditions in the wild it can gain 5 to 8 feet in a single year! It can also be intentionally kept smaller with pruning and water restriction.

Your Rainbow Eucalyptus is fairly tolerant of dry conditions, choosing to limit its growth rather than wither. It will need full sun and plenty of space. These trees are very disease resistant!

The Rainbow is not a typical eucalyptus tree. It doesn't have the typical eucalyptus leaf structure or fragrance- but it does posses the unique, colorful trunk.

Given these conditions, you will see a bloom of beautiful white flower clusters in the spring and fall. They are small and on a full-sized tree, rather inconspicuous but still very pretty if you take the time to look.
