Long-Flowering, Hardy Annual With Delicate Purple Blooms

Offering an array of beautiful purple blooms with dots of yellow at each center, the Blue Vinca makes an exceptional bedding plant. It especially likes drier soil and can be drought tolerant, so it does well in areas with hot and humid summers.

Requiring minimal watering and zero pruning, the Blue Vinca is easy to care for. Its blossoms resemble delicate impatiens, but have fewer petals in a pretty violet hue.

Rabbits tend not to eat the foliage and flowers of the Blue Vinca—meanwhile, pollinators love it. All season long, it will attract flocks of birds and butterflies to your landscape.

Grab this long-blooming annual before we run out of stock!

NOTE: This plant is an annual, so be sure to plant it after the first frost to enjoy throughout the warmer months!

    Planting & Care

    1. Planting: Plant your Blue Vinca in well-draining soil where it will also get full sun. In containers, place your Blue Vinca in an area with full sun.

    2. Watering: Water regularly when soil starts to dry out 2 inches down. You may need to water up to daily during times of extreme heat or drought. No deadheading or pruning is required.
