A top house plant for beginners or frequent travelers, the Chinese Evergreen is a sturdy, easy-growing plant. But despite its strong growth, it still delivers tropical beauty, with rich green leaves tinted with silver patterning. And when it gets enough light, it grows florals that resemble calla lilies.
Even better? This plant tolerates almost any indoor condition. Plus, it's small enough to fit in tight spaces, from desks to tabletops and beyond, dressing up any indoor area with ease. Since it's slow-growing, you won't have to prune or trim either.
But the best part is that your Chinese Evergreen is especially strong and versatile. Since we've hand-selected the best variety, planted and grown with care, you get the good looks of an evergreen plant without the fuss. Your Chinese Evergreen is delivered to your door with a healthy root system and a strong head start.
Don't wait to get this exotic, easy-care plant - it's often hard to find at local nurseries and big-box stores. Order your Chinese Evergreen today!
1. Planting: Indirect light and a bit of dappled shade are best for your Chinese Evergreen. Place it in front of a bright window and keep it away from drafty areas. Also, ensure it gets some protection from the afternoon sun.
When you're repotting or planting, get a container that's twice the width of the shipped container and one that has drainage holes. Use organic soil mix, place your Chinese Evergreen and water to settle the roots.
2. Watering: Use your finger to check the moisture in the soil. Don't water until you have a full inch of dryness from the top of the soil. The Chinese Evergreen does like some humidity, so you can mist your plant to encourage healthy growth.
Estimated Shipping Time: Most orders ship immediately, however some orders may ship in 1-2 business days (we do not ship on the weekends) from date of purchase. As noted on the website, some items are seasonal, and may only ship in spring or fall. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number.
Some plants are not available for immediate shipment, and delayed delivery is noted.
