Spirea Shrubs

We offer several varieties of Spirea Shrubs, ranging in size from small to large, to meet all of your landscaping needs. Spirea is easy to grow, hardy and resistant to disease and pests. These versatile shrubs are as lovely as they are multi-talented.

Little Princess Spirea is dainty and petite, maturing to heights of just 2-4 feet with a similar spread. This exquisite little bush tucks neatly into small areas of your garden, brightening any space with its blushing pink blooms against a background of lush green foliage. This plant is deciduous, so you'll see leaf colors changing throughout the seasons, from spring chartreuse to summer emerald and finally dazzling copper and bronze for the fall.

Goldmound Spirea is aptly named for its color and shape. It is a medium-sized shrub, coming in at just 3-4 feet tall with a similar spread. This plant will add vibrance to any garden space with its naturally rounded form and numerous color changes throughout the year. Plant in small groupings for an accent or intermittently along a winding path or walkway to add depth and dimension.

Vanhoutte Spirea is a tall vase-shaped shrub, maturing to heights of 6-8 feet with a 4-6 foot spread. This beauty grows fast and blooms like crazy during its flowering season. Dark bluish-green foliage lends a gorgeous backdrop for the explosion of creamy pale blossoms. This shrub can be grown in tight rows to create a lovely privacy screen; and it also functions well as a foundation plant or in a flower bed as the background layer to showcase mid-sized plants such as our Autumn Debutante Encore Azalea or our Cherry Dazzle Crape Myrtle.

At Brighter Blooms Nursery we take pride in delivering healthy, well-developed trees and shrubs. We stand behind all our plants, and we guarantee your satisfaction.
