Classic Hawaiian Flowers for Several Months!

The Plumeria Flowering Tree, also known as the “Scent of Hawaii”, is like no other plant. This flower was the very first tree brought to the Hawaiian Islands by Botanist, Wilhelm Hillenbrand. Today, you will see the exotic Plumeria hugging the ear of many Hawaiian women as a symbol of love; and are even the flowers that are on leis.

Vibrant Blooms
The Plumeria is an automatic show stopper. It has electric hues of yellow, pink, and white blossoms that bloom from April until November. It also has a slender, geometric shape, and soft foliage that will branch and produce up to 60 flowers and over 100 blossoms gradually each year. This fast growing flowering tree will grow 3 to 4 feet annually, and will grow to a mature height of about 15-20 feet tall. This plant is not an evergreen and will go dormant during the winter. Meaning, it will lose its beautiful dense foliage during frost.

Flavorful Scent from Spring Until Late Summer
The Plumeria has an invigorating fragrance that has a one of a kind smell you can only find in Hawaii. The scent of Plumeria is very fruity and smooth. The flavorful sweet scent that will become unforgettable to you and every guest of your home.

Easy to Grow in a Pot
Do not get discouraged. If you do not live in a warmer climate, you can still grow Plumeria! It will only grow as big as the container and thrive in a south facing window. You can find how to plant your potted Plumeria indoors below!

Privacy
The Plumeria can also be used as a privacy hedge in Growing Zones 10 and 11. Its heavy green leaves will provide ample and attractive privacy from unsightly views. If growing in a hedge, space each tree 8 feet apart to get full coverage.

Low Maintenance and Carefree!
Hard to kill plant that just pumps out flowers year after year. They are drought tolerant, deer resistant, and heat resistant. They also thrive in full or partial sun. It can also adapt to various soils, and can even tolerate salty areas by the coast.

Plumeria collecting is becoming one of the hottest trends in gardening. Once people try one variety they want to keep growing more. This has put Plumeria trees in short supply. We recommend that you order yours today before they sell out.
