This plant may not thrive in your area
Lush, richly-hued blooms, wherever you want them. With vibrant Flower Carpet® Roses that burst forth with flowers throughout the summer, it's possible.
Occasionally a few of our plants don’t live up to our high standards
They might be a bit crooked or missing some limbs, but they are still quality plants that need a home! So we’ve discounted them heavily to make room for fresh inventory...given the nature of these plants, we are not able to offer our standard warranty but hope you can take advantage of this opportunity to give them a home!
And these mid to late spring clusters emerge with velvety, varying hues of red that you'll love. Glossy green foliage with small burgundy pops of color complement these fresh florals. Because these roses are long-lasting, this dazzling show continues into fall, too.
Best of all, this durable cultivar boasts a high level of disease resistance, especially to common rose blights like black spot and mildew. Since it's so adaptable and versatile, it's genuinely easy to maintain, so Carpet Roses are ideal for both beginner gardeners and seasoned professionals.
So, it's no problem if you don't have a green thumb. No harsh chemicals or sprays are necessary for the Carpet Roses to thrive. And excessive pruning? Unnecessary. Simply take a pair of shears and cut back to a third of the bush size (in whatever direction you like) in late winter or early spring. Merging beauty and brawn, these Carpet Roses take the guesswork out of gardening.
Even better, Carpet Roses self-clean during their flowering season, so deadheading is not required. There's no fuss and no hassle when it comes to these beauteous botanicals. They offer instant curb appeal and lush, luxuriant vibes for your landscape.
For planting, full sun ensures best growth, but Carpet Roses also grow well in partial shade, with 4 to 5 hours of sunlight each day. In areas of intense heat and sun, semi-shade or filtered light works well. And though Carpet Roses thrive in an array of soil conditions, they perform best in well-drained garden soil with additional organic matter.
Also, watering is just as easy. Water your Carpet Roses regularly during hotter conditions and until the plant is established. However, once they're established, your Carpet Roses are highly tolerant of drought-like conditions.
