Unlike other citrus fruit, the sweetest part of the kumquat is the peel. Ripe Nagami Kumquats are actually stored on the tree! Just pick them whenever you feel like a great tasting snack. Enjoy lots of juicy little fruits to pop right into your mouth. They make great marmalades, and you'll get a kick out of creating different desserts for family and friends with each harvest.

The Nagami Kumquat prefers sandy soils.
Get larger, juicier kumquat fruit by growing in sandy soil. If you are going to grow your kumquat in a large container, use sand-based potting mix. They are just as happy growing in the ground as in a pot. This easy-to-grow citrus plant is resistant to insect and disease problems. The perfect candidate for safe, organic fruit you can eat right off the branches.

A lovely ornamental with beautiful blooms and decorative fruit.
The Cantonese word kumquat means golden orange. Wait until you see how gorgeous the Nagami Kumquat is, filled with vibrant colored fruits. Extremely fragrant blooms will be intoxicating in the heat of summer. This kumquat plant is very cold hardy in winters as low as 20 degrees F. The fruit ripens in February, the treat of fresh fruit for a midwinter feast.

For fast fruit production, be sure to select very vigorous Nagami Kumquat plants.
When ordering your citrus plants from Brighter Blooms, we guarantee you will be delighted by the health and vigor of the Nagami Kumquats you receive. They will arrive in great shape that you can just plant and enjoy from day one. If you are colder than zone 8, bring your citrus tree indoors during the winter months. Due to agricultural shipping restrictions, we cannot ship this plant to TX, FL or SC.

    Gorgeous little fruits

I am going back to when I was growing up. My mother all the time made jams from Kumquats . Now I can do the same with my Kumquats tree love it I can bring it inside for the winter. I got my tree about 4 months ago an now there are flower on it wow. it is a shame I cant show you the picture's of it. I give this a 5 star when they ship it to me it was pack so well . An I also give a 5 star to the customer serves . If you have anything about the trees they will get back with you on any question's you might have I have also did get a Dwarf Avocado as well an I did bring them inside for the winter. I didn't have much sun I live in the mountains with lots of tree blocking for sun to come threw inside but they did great. What you can do is get a heat lamp an that will bring the tree some heat in the winter if you have problem with the sun or keeping them warm. I will up date later on again. Happy Planting :) PS I did get my threw Amozon. But I will get my Plum tree here On this site
