Product Description

Show-Stopping Red Foliage

The American Red Maple is as hardy as it is stunning. This is a native North American maple, so it thrives almost anywhere in the country.

Red Maples will thrive in a wider range of soil types than any other tree species, and are found on sites ranging from hot dry ridges to moist bogs and swamps, enjoying sun to part shade.

You might say they're pretty easy to please.

The American Red Maple typically grows to heights between 40-60 feet, with a 25-35 foot spread. Picture yourself sipping cool iced tea in the summer under the sizable swath of shade provided by this eye-catching Maple.

Suitably named, The American Red Maple isn't just known for its fiery scarlet autumn display or delicate crimson blooms in spring; this maple’s leaf stalks, fruit, twigs and seeds are all flaunting their varying shades of red. This superstar is serious about showing off its true colors.

This lovely tree can develop surface roots, though to a lesser extent than other maples, and is happiest living a fair distance away from sidewalks, driveways, streets or other structures.

With the American Red Maple in your yard, your house will be the showpiece of the neighborhood.
