Planting & Care

Planting
A Pink Snow Showers™ Weeping Cherry tree is considered an easy-care option. When deciding where to plant it, choose an area that receives full sunlight - six to eight hours a day - and has well-drained soil.

To plant, dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as your root ball. Place your tree in the hole, keeping the trunk straight. Backfill your hole, tamping down the soil to remove air pockets as you go, and water thoroughly.

Watering
Water your tree whenever soil feels dry down two inches.

Fertilizing
As your tree grows, remember to fertilize it annually in early spring.

Pruning
Minimal pruning is needed for these trees. Any broken branches can be pruned back in spring before new growth begins.
