Pink Snow Showers™ Weeping Cherry Tree displays baby pink petals that sprout from darker pink receptacles, gently lining weeping branches. After the blooms end for the season, the tree boasts gorgeous green, then orange or red leaves.
Because of its surprising, bright flowers, most gardeners use Pink Snow Showers™ Weeping Cherry Tree as a focal point in their landscape, but it also looks attractive when planted among shorter and taller plants for varying heights and flowering times. At maturity, it becomes quite large, reaching a height of 25 to 35 feet and width of 20 to 30 feet.Showy Looks, Simple Care
Look no further for low-maintenance, easy-to-grow flowering cherry trees. Although Pink Snow Showers™ Weeping Cherry Tree is certainly a showstopper, it isn’t as finicky as similar flowering trees. Planting & Care
A Pink Snow Showers™ Weeping Cherry tree is considered an easy-care option. When deciding where to plant it, choose an area that receives full sunlight - six to eight hours a day - and has well-drained soil.
To plant, dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as your root ball. Place your tree in the hole, keeping the trunk straight. Backfill your hole, tamping down the soil to remove air pockets as you go, and water thoroughly.
Water your tree whenever soil feels dry down two inches.
As your tree grows, remember to fertilize it annually in early spring.
Minimal pruning is needed for these trees. Any broken branches can be pruned back in spring before new growth begins.
